歌ってみた Album Review - step on

amu's first album! Can you imagine it?! Some weeks before it was released, his PV for Silvia (the first song in step on, made by buzzG) was posted and HE SHOWS HIMSELF! It was surprising, I admit. I haven't imagined how amu looks like. I never watched his namahousou even thou I really want to (I don't know how T__T). I'll put the PV at the end of this post. Anyway in the album, the last song--step on--was made by amu himself. Kinda different with stopping on the way. I'll begin my review then.

1. Silvia
Typical rock song--you'll be greeted by guitar and drum plays. Get into the lyrics, the instrumental moves slower. I really enjoy amu's low voice here, contrast with the energetic instrumental yet it somehow completes each other. Near to the chorus, it starts touching the high notes. And don't ask, amu doesn't sound like he has any difficulties with the notes. I have to admit that this is the first song I like from buzzG. With VOCALOID, he usually uses GUMI and maybe because GUMI sounds kinda flat, so it doesn't make any great impression for me.

2. Cinderella Syndrome (シンデレラシンドローム)
It sounds kinda playful at the first, the lyrics start with slow-flowing tone and low voiced amu. Slowly, towards the chorus the high notes come. I always like how amu's vibration in the end of each lyrics livens up the tones--it makes the song doesn't know what 'flat' means. amu doesn't always use his vibration, he sometimes only uses it in the chorus. You know, there're a lot of utaite also has vibrations like that but they use it in every corner of the songs. I don't really like that kind of singing style.

3. Marygold
Another song by buzzG. I remember I requested someone to post a link to download this song, but it was GUMI's version--the original. But I don't remember anything about the song. Maybe I didn't download it *shrugs* Anyway it starts with a rather peaceful drum and guitar play. You don't have to wait too long until the vocal comes. amu's voice isn't that flat if you compare with Silvia. It doesn't have that high note like in Silvia either, but it has more high notes part.

4. nightbreak
Somehow the opening kinda reminds me of Miku's Kagerou Days, especially with the guitar plays. The vocal comes without being too fancy--sometimes flat is needed, you know. Then it's followed with cool guitar plays again, more energetic. The chorus itself sounds.. like, showing depression? I have no clue about the lyrics, so don't blame me if it tells about happiness and stuff. Anyway you can hear an awesome guitar play in the interlude.

-Away we go- PointFive (.5) Doushinen

As I mentioned before, I'd start posting some lyrics I've romanized myself since I didn't found it anywhere.

歌ってみた Album Review - PointFive (.5) Doushinen

Damn school! Because I've been absent for weeks, I was left-behind in class which made me don't understand lessons and stuff. I also haven't filled some scores so this week, I should finish them. I know my scores would be bad if I still have blanks but.. filling ALL blank scores in a week? I'm fed up already.

I accidentally skipped school today (yeah, I woke up at 8 AM when the school starts at 7.30 AM, even thou I still have to catch up a score. Then my mom went to my school and talked to my teachers. When she got home, she brought a list of scores I should finish. Wth?! I tried to fill those scores in a week and there's still a bunch of it? Meh, now I fully don't care about my scores anymore.

Despite of my bloody annoying situation, I got PointFive's Doushinen some weeks ago. It consists Select Me, COLOUR and Kimi Reflection singles. Oh well, then having the COLOUR single separated is useless. Not really thou, it's my first PointFive collection. Okay, okay, straight to the review!

1. キミレフレクション (All Members)
With simple opening and followed with drum plays, it makes you want to tap your fingers. I think it sounds like an opening for an anime. The chorus is catchy because when it comes, it draws you into a big tap--kinda high note. Overall, it's a cheery song. And amu's voice totally cool here o///o

2. Away we go (clear feat. じゃっく・タイツォン・らっぷびと)
It's my favorite track of all. At first you'll hear single piano plays. You'll probably enjoy it from the first line. It plays echo as the back vocals and kinda upbeat. Well it should be, there're some rap parts. You can also hear the tune flows nicely before it goes back to the upbeat mode. The chorus itself is energetic. My favorite part is when they sing 'When love is found'. There're two back vocals that come in slight time differences with the main one. Rapbit's rap isn't flat all along and it sounds amazing.

3. ポラリス (あさまる・clear)
One word--lullaby. Not really, it's just the flowing of the song is so smooth that can bring you to sleep. You'll hear clear and Asamaru reach the high tone perfectly here. Thou near the ending parts they sang in low tones, and nicely ended with simple piano.

I Finally Got My NicoNico Account!

Actually I already have ones before but they kept getting locked since I was so stupid to log in with the names--not the emails. Also I always forgot the passwords, I didn't know the rule that if you entered wrong password three-in-a-row, your account will be locked.

The reason I want to make NicoNico account is obviously for the videos, especially VOCALOID's and Utattemita's. But the one that urged me to have an account is Nico Namahosou or Nico's live broadcast. I didn't know that you can watch your favorite utaite live. I envy my friend who got times to watch the broadcasts. I read the lists for the namahosou and it's like usually they broadcast late at night. Obviously my parents won't let me =3= But I really want to watch clear and amu sing live! I also hope Wotamin would have her own namahosou but I heard she's too shy for it. Oh, that reminds me. When I visited her community in NicoNico, I used Google Translate to figure out some of the words. I found Wotamin's being translated as 'otaku people' xD Where does that come from? And also I managed to watch her cover for Britney Spears's 'Everytime'. Her pronunciation is unbelievably good! Well.. I laughed when she sang the part where it says, 'I see clear'. You know what I mean, don't you?

歌ってみた Album Review - First Contact (BONUS! 3 Cu6ic's Lyrics)

Somehow, I like the songs in Clenero's First Contact more than Second Impact. Well, everyone has different taste of music. Anyway, here comes.

1. Butterfly
Okay, the lyrics may sound.. erm.. not suitable for people below 18 (and I'm included) but if you ignore the lyrics, the song is kinda catchy. And you can also listen to nero's low toned voice (yesss... I LOVE it!). The song may be fast, but somehow after you listen to it for some times, you'll notice that the flowing isn't that fast. Well, I feel that. To say, this is my favorite song of whole album. And it's in track 1. How cute.

2. All Night
I haven't searched for the lyrics but if you take a look at the title, you may notice something .__. Contrasted with 'Butterfly', it's kinda jazzy without much difficult instrumental sounds. Yeah, it focuses on the vocals which are pressured with feelings and reaching high notes. Man, that's just awesome.

3. Moon
Hello? Is it just me or three of the first songs themed identically? Anyway, this song is slower than 'All Night', and the volume at the beginning is reeeeeally low (I must make the volume higher). This is a kind of song which you can wave your head from right to left slowly.

4. Summer Rain
My 2nd most favorite song. I started liking this song after I heard amu's version in his solo album, Mu (maybe I'll review it later). It's not really summery, more like focused on the rain theme itself. The harmonies kicking. This song isn't really fast but in some parts the lyrics overlap with the time (and that's my favorite part).

5. Gift
Can't say it's classical just because you'll hear piano plays along with the song. Another slow song with high notes in some parts. I'm not good at describing slow songs ;~; (I might not be good reviewing all kind of songs; but slow songs are worst). But I hear nero's manly (?) voice hear and fell in love ^///^

6. Change
Yay! Cheery song, at least! Before the chorus, there're some fast lyrics which you'll hear random people as back vocals (I don't really know, but they sound random). Two main words to describe this song; summer and playful. There're some 'Oyeah!' throughout the songs. That's just amazing.

Cleawota

Life is just not fair -__-" If only I know utattemita a little earlier! What on earth is happening?!

I happened to read a translation of Cleawota radio interview which was posted a year ago. It's about their 2nd anniversary as a couple duet pair. They're being asked some personal questions. And they looked really sweet.

So, why do I feel disappointed?

It should be their 3rd anniversary but because they don't do duets anymore.. Aw.. =A=" I think it's because clear is kinda busy with his albums (he was featured in some albums with various utaite, like NEM'S GARDEN, Point Five, and also in his newly single Dearest II). It's rare to see he posted videos. The last one is his Pianissimo I think (which he joins in the making). I saw all the comments are like, 'Welcome back clear!', 'Glad to see you here!'. Now, I think I won't see him doing duet with Wotamin anymore TT__TT Also, I saw a comment in the translation of the interview, s/he said like, 'If clear feels thankful for Wotamin because she mixed lots of his songs, he should features his duet with Wotamin!' I do agree, totally agree. He's being too busy with his new partner, Nero. I can't blame him because I also love Nero ^///^ But of course I miss Cleawota duet.

歌ってみた Album Review - HoneyWorks + COLOUR

Another review for 歌ってみた albums (anyway, the albums I reviewed aren't really new, I know). This time I'll give some words for HoneyWorks album. The only reason I downloaded it because there's Wotamin~ *A* Okay, okay. Here're the reviews;

1. 泣キ虫カレシ (Wataame ft. Inakamono)
This is the first time I heard voices of theirs. Wataame sounds really mature, so does Inakamono. But Inakamono's voice sometimes is difficult to listen because of his volume. Well, he doesn't really force his voice for the high note thou.

2. スキキライ (Limone-sensei ft. Kogeinu)
.. Two guys are singing this. Probably a little piece of heaven for fujoshi out there .__. Anyway, I'm clueless which one is Limone and Kogeinu. To be honest, I never listened to their voices (like Wataame and Inakamono). Well, in Suji Chigai as reference (Kogeinu ft. Faneru), I think Kogeinu takes Rin's part. The song sounds so playful. Yeah, sometimes you'll hear funny words (not the words that are funny, but the way they say them). They both sound like they sing freely, without any problems.

3. パジャマっ子☆ (Wotamin)
Yay for Wotamin! Her voice is really high here o__o It of course is difficult to reach Rin's high note. Wotamin must be really tired after singing with that note for minutes, yet her voice is still enjoyable \^o^/ To be specific, her voice is "weighty" as usual. Yep, pressure.

The last track you'll find in this album is.. more likely an interview. I don't understand Japanese, so I'll skip it.
